Karbur is a specialty coffee brand focused on ethically sourced whole beans, roasted in small batches in Sainte-Adèle. Our goal is to give coffee lovers a unique experience that blends quality, education, and personality. The idea behind Karbur was born from a simple conviction: coffee is more than just a beverage — it’s a ritual, a moment to align body and mind before taking on the day.
We set out to build a brand that feels as good as it tastes, with a touch of creativity and warmth from the very first glance at the bag. That’s why we created Karbur — a specialty coffee brand with as much personality as quality, inspired by the energy and character of the animal world.

About me 


For me, coffee is much more than just a dose of caffeine, it’s a ritual, an atmosphere, an aroma, a beverage that deserves respect.
My name is Alexandre Canuel  entrepreneur and epicurean at heart.

After more than 15 years in business, hospitality, customer service, and marketing, I wanted to create a project that truly reflected who I am: authentic, warm, direct… with a touch of humor.
That’s how Karbur was born.
To me, coffee should bring a smile, a moment of appreciation.

With Karbur, I wanted to bring a new dose of energy, pleasure, and character to your mornings and coffee breaks.
Each Karbur coffee has its own totem animal, its personality, and its unique spark.

Because we don’t all wake up the same way but we all deserve a coffee that fits our vibe.

At Karbur, I believe a good coffee can turn an ordinary routine into a moment of joy.

Roasted in-house and carefully selected, each blend is crafted to wake your body, spark your mind, and make you smile with every sip.
Beyond flavor, Karbur also aims to spark curiosity.

I love sharing the secrets behind coffee  where it comes from, how it’s roasted, and how each brewing method reveals a unique profile.

In short, to add a touch of education to this fascinating world, so that every cup becomes a little discovery.

Where Tradition Meets Craft:
At Karbur, every coffee is roasted right here in Sainte-Adèle, in small batches, on our own roaster. Each batch is handled by hand, using time-honored techniques to bring out the full aromatic potential of every bean — so quality and authenticity stay in our hands, from green bean to bag.
