Artisan Roasting in the Laurentians: The Karbur Story

Karbur Café Artisan Torréfacteur is rooted in Sainte-Adèle, in the heart of Quebec's Laurentians. What started as a small, focused idea — bring real specialty coffee, roasted with care, to our region — has grown one batch at a time.

Small batches, real craft

Every Karbur blend is roasted in small batches, giving us close control over the final cup instead of chasing volume. It's slower, but it's how you get consistency and character in every bag.

Building toward our own roastery

We're on a deliberate path: today, our coffee is roasted in small, carefully managed batches as we grow, and we're actively working toward bringing every step of production fully in-house at our own facility in Sainte-Adèle. Each stage — sourcing, roasting, blending, bagging — is something we're building to own completely, on our own terms.

Why it matters

Being close to our own roast means better quality control, fresher coffee for you, and a supply chain we can stand behind from origin to cup.
